This acrylic painting was created last year. The scene shows a landscape view of an area inside Paphos Mosaics.
The painting was worked on from life over several weeks and the figures in the painting were all people who passed by during the time it took to paint.
On top of the hill, on the left hand side, the horizon actually contains a lighthouse, which was originally painted in but was then removed at a later date.

London Fashion Week.
Richard Sorger for Amelia’s Magazine.
This set of three illustrations was created around the Richard Sorger show at London Fashion Week for the creative and exciting Amelia’s Magazine.
The brief requested that the background be imaginative and incorporate the patterns of the dresses in some way and the patterned fabric perfectly lent itself to these efforts. Read the review of the show here and see photographic evidence that the models did indeed look this animated.
The illustrations were all hand drawn and painted with some digital colouring for the skin tones.

Teen Fiction Book Cover Design.
The illustration on the left was entered into the SCBWI ‘cover to cover’ contest last year and apparently won, although as a condition of entry apparently involved having up to date membership of SCBWI, the exact situation regarding the prize seems to be up in the air right now.
The story the cover was designed for was the creation of Lois A Johnson and it’s an exciting Young Adult story, featuring a girl called Sadie.
